From the President’s Desk
Dear ANTA Family and Friends,
It is both an honor and a profound responsibility to serve as President of ANTA for the 2026–2028 term. I extend my warmest greetings and heartfelt appreciation to the entire ANTA family for your trust, support, and commitment to our
organization. ANTA is rooted in unity, cultural pride, and a shared commitment to preserve the rich heritage of the Terai Nepal. Our society is diverse, we come from different castes, communities, cultures, and backgrounds. While this diversity is our strength, there are other challenges remaining. We must come together with cooperation, understanding, and determination to address these issues and build a stronger future for our people and future generations.
Preserving our cultural heritage, expanding educational opportunities, empowering our youth, and serving our communities must remain at the heart of our mission.
Giving Back & Lending a Hand
ANTA is determined to give back to those who have given so much to us. We have launched several projects and initiatives to improve the lives of Madheshis in the US and in Nepal, the motherland. Empowering Women & Supporting Youths in USA & Beyond
Through financial stimulation and the sharing of expertise, ANTA promotes collaboration and strengthens the ties between Teraian professionals. Whether it be by supporting promising young Madheshi students or furthering women's rights in the workplace, we are dedicated to the welfare of Nepali Madheshi people in America and beyond.
Preserving Teraian Linguistic and Cultural Identity
ANTA aims to promote unity and identity among Nepali Teraians (Madheshis). We work to facilitate close cooperation and networking by integrating and empowering Madheshis and friends of Madheshis in North America. Our programs focus on the opportunities and challenges in three main areas: professional development & communication among Madheshis, cultural awareness, and community service.
The Backbone of ANTA
The Executive Committee is at the helm of ANTA's operations.
