From the President’s Desk

Dear ANTA Family and Friends,

Welcome to the webpage of the Association of Nepali Teraian in America (ANTA). I am Tauleshwar Prasad Chaudhary, originally from Kapilvastu, Nepal (Birth Place of GAUTAM BUDDHA), and currently residing in Dublin, OH with my family.  It is a great honor and privilege to serve as the President of this esteemed organization. I am inspired by the potential of ANTA and look forward to contributing to its growth and impact, both here in the US and in Nepal.

Having served diligently within ANTA for the past couple tenures, I have had the privilege of serving alongside two exceptional leaders, Dr. Mridula Gupta and Mrs. Aprajita Jha. Through these experiences, I have witnessed both the challenges our organization faces and its tremendous potential for community service. These opportunities have given me a deep understanding of our community's needs and aspirations, highlighting the crucial role of effective leadership in guiding our collective journey forward.

As president, I am committed to building upon ANTA's legacy of excellence with its long history, fostering inclusivity and equality, and advancing our mission of 'Empowering Youth, Enriching Cultures, Embracing Humanity' within the Nepali Teraian community in the United States. Our vision for ANTA encompasses initiatives aimed at enhancing member engagement, promoting cultural exchange, advocating for our Nepali community's interests, and strengthening organizational capacity to better serve our diverse Madheshi community.

Giving Back & Lending a Hand

ANTA is determined to give back to those who have given so much to us. We have launched several projects and initiatives to improve the lives of Madheshis in the US and in Nepal, the motherland. Nepal is a natural disaster-prone country; we are determined to help out any way we can. Click below to view our comprehensive & detailed account of our activities.

Empowering Women & Supporting Youths in USA & Beyond

Through financial stimulation and the sharing of expertise, ANTA promotes collaboration and strengthens the ties between Teraian professionals. Whether it be by supporting promising young Madheshi students or furthering women's rights in the workplace, we are dedicated to the welfare of Nepali Madheshi people in America and beyond.

Preserving Teraian Linguistic and Cultural Identity

ANTA aims to promote unity and identity among Nepali Teraians (Madheshis). We work to facilitate close cooperation and networking by integrating and empowering Madheshis and friends of Madheshis in North America. Our programs focus on the opportunities and challenges in three main areas: professional development & communication among Madheshis, cultural awareness, and community service.
