Trivani is ANTA’s quarterly flagship publication. It provides a comprehensive and detailed account of ANTA’s activities for three months. ANTA’s Executive Committee chose the name ‘Trivani’ with keen interest for inclusiveness and unity of diversity. Through these quarterly publications, we are optimistic to strengthen ANTA’s network for Teraian Identity, Integration, and Empowerment. In the form of an e-publication, Trivani is conveniently accessible to a wider population that exhibits transparency of ANTA’s progress with its activities and financial updates including articles, greetings as well as business ads for sustainability. Trivani signifies the three major languages, Maithili, Bhojpuri, and Awadhi that are the mother tongue of the people living on the plain of Nepal Terai where great souls like Sita and Gautam Buddha were born. While the languages the Teraians speak differ, they share a common culture, and their identity is unique among the people of diverse cultures in Nepal. Both the common culture and unique identity have evolved over millennia while generations by generations living in the same environment, no matter how harsh it was. Their generations have collectively fought the natural odds, and are capable of using such collaborative character to maintain their identity and culture against any calamities, natural or anthropogenic, in the modern era too.
