ANTA Projects and Relief Work

ANTA has been actively conducting socioeconomic related activities such as scholarship program, awareness program, library construction and others. ANTA has been conducting such programs through ANTA members and various organizations, and to expedite further, would like to have more proposals to work together in these areas from individuals/groups/organization. Below are the list of programs & relief work conducted by ANTA.

Stationary Distribution program for the students of impacted areas in Nepal

  • Community Library Project and Information Center in collaboration with ‘Wallace Foundation’ in the US  in Pakadi Village, Kapilvastu District

  • Scholarships for 25 elementary school-going poor children in collaboration with ‘Sarlahi Social Welfare Foundation’

  • Scholarship for SLC high score achieving students ( four girls and one boy)

  • Flood Preparedness Awareness and Gender Sensitivity, Mahottari

  • Autism Project

  • Educational Scholarships Project in Western Nepal and in the USA

  • Visit Janakpur Digital project to promote and support tourism in Madhesh 

  • Dialysis Project in collaboration with ‘Binaytara Foundation Cancer Center’, Janakpurdham

  • Relief to flood victims in Terai, 2007

  • Helping victims of cold wave, Saptari

  • Worked with the Red Cross to aid Japan tsunami victim

  • Helping fire victims in Saptari district ($2,000)

  • Helping fellow ANTA members during an emergency

  • Health camp for the victims of the Earthquake with America Medical Foundation & "Meal on Wheel" program for the earthquake victims ($44,000)

  • Flood Relief distribution in collaboration with Madhesh Initiatives, Sano Paila, Terai Human Rights Defenders Alliance, Terai Community Development foundation, Saptari monetary relief distribution by Mr. Uday Yadav, and Koshish Foundation in 2017 (Approx. $16,000)

  • Flood relief distribution in Saptari, 2018 ($2,000)

  • Blanket Distribution Program, 2018

  • Financial help for the funeral of a community member, DC

  • Financial help for the funeral of a community member, TX

  • Support to Bara-Parsa Windstorm victims ($14,860)

  • First phase of COVID-19 relief to affected community members ($1600, allotted to 8 people)

  • Second phase of COVID-19 relief to affected community members ($800, allotted to 4 people)
