ANTA hosted a virtual webinar with two prominent women in the Maithili community: Dr. Shefalika Verma, Sahitya Akademi Award recipient in India which is the highest award in literature and her daughter Dr. Vandana Karn from UK were our guests. Dr. Verma is amongst the first few women writers of Maithili to have won this award. Dr. Karn is based in UK and a daughter in law of Nepal and she is active in Nepali community in UK. The webinar was a huge success in the ANTA community.
